Painter Ferhat Çubukçu’s Solo Exhibition Held in Akaretler…
12 May 2026

Expert Painter Ferhat Çubukçu’s solo exhibition took place at Akaretler Signature Art Gallery under the coordination of Nadine Kaffel… A prestigious exhibition attended by many distinguished guests was held between 29 April – 12 May at Beşiktaş Akaretler. The solo exhibition showcases the artist’s oil on canvas paintings. Manifesto Based on the spiral form created by the Fibonacci sequence as it approaches the golden ratio, the artist integrates these spirals into the overall compositions and figures of his paintings in order to capture the golden ratio. Fibonacci measurements are carefully considered both on the figures and between them. The compositions generally take place in closed and narrow spaces. By placing Fibonacci spirals over women, children, and their surroundings, the artist seeks to discover and give form to symbols. At the same time, he confines the lives of women and children within a dystopian narrative. In response to the limitations, traumas, and psychological pressures imposed on women and children, he approaches the paintings with a lyrical and colorful expression. Ferhat Çubukçu’s Biography Born in 1988 in Bursa, Ferhat Çubukçu graduated from Bursa Hürriyet High School and later studied Automotive Technologies at Yüzüncü Yıl University. Having painted for 26 years, Çubukçu worked for 6 years at Ertuğrul Topsakal Art Studio, where he studied thousands of books on art. He also conducted research on various art movements and paintings in numerous galleries in England. Influenced by the Fauvism and Pointillism movements, as well as artists such as Lucian Freud, Georges-Pierre Seurat, Pablo Picasso, and Henri Matisse, Çubukçu blends his interest in Fibonacci spirals and the golden ratio with measurement-based studies. As a self-taught (autodidact) artist, he continuously renews and evolves his unique style. He produces his own painting materials (brushes, canvases, paints) as needed and continues to work primarily in oil painting and digital art.
